Crisis Response in Education Network (CREN)

Network Description

The ICSEI Crisis Response in Education Network examines how educational systems address significant crises and the impact these crises have on education systems, as well as on the health and well-being of practitioners, children, young people, and their families. It also explores how crises influence school leadership, professional learning, collaboration, and partnerships within education systems. These crises include natural disasters, pandemics, war zones, post-conflict contexts, and other social, health, or environmental challenges. The network’s primary aim is to foster research, curate knowledge, and disseminate emerging practices developed in response to crises, with a focus on mitigating educational disruptions and promoting equity and justice in challenging contexts.
