Open Call: Join ICSEI Board Standing Committees
The International Congress for School Effectiveness and Improvement (ICSEI) invites expressions of interest from members to join the standing committees of the ICSEI Board. These committees are central to the work of the Board of ICSEI, and ICSEI’s governance more broadly. They provide advice to the Board on matters essential to the organization’s mission and operations.
The Board Standing Committees looking to recruit new members are:
- Communications and Knowledge Sharing (C&KS): Develops and implements ICSEI’s communications strategy, including social media, publications, and Dialogic.
- Generational Renewal, Inclusion and Diversity (GRID): Advises the Board on diversity, equity, inclusion, and generational renewal, ensuring ICSEI’s ethical commitments are upheld.

Participation
Board Standing Committee members contribute by:
- Attending regular virtual meetings (typically 2–4 per year).
- Reviewing and providing input on ICSEI policies, strategies, and initiatives.
- Supporting ICSEI’s mission through expertise, lived experience, and active engagement.
Process
Interested members are invited to complete an Expression of Interest form by August 10, 2026. Those whose expertise and interests align with committee needs will be invited to meet with the committee chair and another Board member to discuss their potential contribution.
